Archery Beginners Courses

Why not learn the sport of archery on our beginners course costing £60, all equipment provided. We try to hold two beginners courses each year in April and September run during the outdoor shooting season each year and cater for complete beginners from the age of 8 upwards.

The next beginners course commences in April 2024.

The outdoor courses lasts 4 weeks normally on Sunday mornings, during which you will learn the basics of shooting and gain a thorough understanding of archery safety and shooting etiquette. All equipment is provided for the course.
Upon successfully completing the beginners course you will receive a certificate having reached a suitable standard. This certificate is evidence that you have completed the course to the national standard required for membership of an AGB affiliated archery club.

(Note that we schedule an extra date for each course to allow for some flexibility should inclement weather cause the club to cancel a date).

Please note: While we welcome children they must be 8 or over and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 14 years of age.
